Venus Theatre launching new project entitled:

Frozen Women/Flowing Thoughts

CHOSEN SELECTIONS WILL BE ANNOUNCED BY: February 14, 2024

 WHAT TO SUBMIT: A single female-identifying character monologue up to 15 minutes in length, with an optional 2-minute edit for actors to use as audition pieces. No props and the set can not be larger than a 7’ blackbox contained space.

HOW TO APPLY: Email submissionsofvenus@gmail.com with the subject heading FWFT: (name of your short play) (name of the playwright). ATTACH a digital copy of the script.

ENTRY FEE: None. Submit as many monologues as you like.

WHAT YOU GET: If selected, your short will be featured in a Venus Theatre Anthology of works by women entitled, “Frozen Women/Flowing Thoughts”. A Venus Nomadic production will likely follow in 2024 and beyond. (depending on the state of the world).
